Summary:
This key team member is responsible for gathering project documents, collecting essential information, and attending pre-bid meetings to create accurate estimates and comprehensive bid proposals for potential clients. Analyzing methods, schedules, materials, and labor requirements, you determine the scope of the project and come up with cost estimates. You also think of potential risks and account for these in your estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
-  Responds to bid specifications, writing scope of work, developing cost estimates, predicting the duration of the project, and including contingencies.
-  Estimates the amount and type of material required to deliver the bid specification.
-  Provides complete project engineering and estimating labor.
-  Determine key variables for cost and other estimates.
-  Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times, etc.
-  Perform risk analysis
-  Create and submit estimate reports or bids to appropriate persons
-  Ensures timely completion of and meets bid schedules and deadlines.
-  Manage bid review process and provide post bid feedback.
Experience and Education:
- 2 years of estimating experience
- Semiconductor experience is preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
