The Boeing Company is looking for an Estimating and Pricing Specialist (Associate or Experienced) to join our team in Hazelwood, MO or Berkeley, MO This assignment will support the Proprietary Air Dominance Division. Our team is open to a broad range of experience levels including Level 2 and Level 3 Specialists to find the best fit for the position.

You will be directly involved with cost proposal development including analysis of statement of work requirements, selection of appropriate estimating methodologies, substantiation of estimates/pricing, and ensuring estimating system compliance. The ideal candidate will be skilled in critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation, and communication.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develops or leads estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design, build, and aftermarket support stages of the program

  • Develops, prepares and validates estimates and prices

  • Evaluates requests for proposal, substantiates estimates/pricing and assembles price proposals

  • Develops estimating and pricing methods

  • Evaluates and develops business cases

  • Performs analysis and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.)

  • Develops and maintains pricing models

  • Develops/applies/maintains rates and factors for estimating, pricing and proposals

  • Performs compliance activities including providing compliant cost volumes

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in a finance-related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)

  • Experience with Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) requirements / U.S. Government contracts

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): ​

  • 3+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Knowledge of United States Government Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)

  • Experience performing parametric estimates and data analysis

  • Experience performing substantiated quick-turn (1-2 weeks) Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates and tests of reasonableness

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Pay Range for Associate (Level 2): $73,950 - $100,050

Pay Range for Experience (Level 3): $93,500 - $126,500
