Job Description

Elements Massage Chandler West is excited to announce the addition of therapeutic skin care services to the studio’s offerings and is currently seeking licensed estheticians /aestheticians to join the growing team. The goal is to create a welcoming work environment where employees feel valued and motivated to come to work each day. Elements Massage Chandler West would love to show you what makes it unique!

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must have completed (or are in the process of completing) an Esthetics / Aesthetics educational program
  • Licensed to provide facial services in your state or municipality
  • A client service-oriented individual who can communicate effectively with clients, studio management, and coworkers
  • Thrives in a fun, team-oriented environment
  • Previous experience in a spa environment or providing facials is a plus
  • The team would love to speak with students, inexperienced and experienced estheticians/aestheticians with a wide variety of experiences from the beauty industry, resort spa / medical spa, and much more.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality facial services:

  • Review the client’s intake form to determine any contraindications or considerations before the service.
  • Complete a skin analysis of each client to determine what type of service/product should be used to achieve their desired outcome.
  • Customize a 60-minute facial service plan for each client based on their unique needs and skin condition.
  • Provide a relaxing facial experience through cleansing, treating, exfoliating, and moisturizing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with studio guidelines.
  • Adhere to all health and state safety regulations and guidelines.

Educate clients regarding services, visit frequency, and at-home care:

  • Explain the benefits of regular facials and the positive impact clients may have in the overall improvement and health of their skin.
  • Provide each client with a recommendation on how frequently they should return for facial services to maintain their desired results.
  • Customize and recommend an at-home regimen for each client to maintain their desired results between sessions.
  • Demonstrate/explain the proper use of each recommended product and how often it should be used.

Communicate professionally with clients and team members:

  • Educate clients about the service they are to receive to ensure alignment on what the end goals are for the session.
  • Address any concerns during the session by educating and communicating with the client.
  • Maintain a written record of services provided and products used during each session. This includes but is not limited to notating what products clients have enjoyed during a session and those which may have caused adverse reactions.
  • Keep a clear line of communication with the studio management team regarding client needs, inventory needs, additional training needs, and more.

Complete other tasks and projects as assigned by studio leadership.
