We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Elmbridge to assist with the appointment of an Estates Surveyor, on a 4-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £217.52 - £286.36 per day

Summary:

An Estates Surveyor is required to support the Council's Asset Management and Property Services team, providing estates management and valuation advice to ensure the effective management and optimum value of the Council's property portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Provide estates management and valuation services across the Council’s property estate.
• Manage and undertake lease renewals, rent reviews, new lettings, assignments and surrenders.
• Support commercial and residential property valuations in accordance with professional practice.
• Negotiate property disposals, including preparing Heads of Terms and instructing solicitors.
• Support property acquisitions, including valuation, analysis and due diligence.

Essentials:

• Relevant experience in estate management and property valuation.
• Experience of lease renewals, rent reviews, lettings, assignments and surrenders.
• Knowledge and experience of property acquisitions and disposals.
• Experience preparing Heads of Terms, valuations and development appraisals.
• Strong negotiation, communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively with multiple stakeholders.

• This role requires a Basic DBS
