Job Description

General Purpose:

The ESL Corrugated Operator is responsible for operating corrugated packaging equipment and supporting ESL production activities to ensure products are properly packaged, coded, documented, and prepared for distribution.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:00pm - 6:30am Off Saturday and Sunday

Job responsibilities include:

  • Operate box-forming and casing equipment used in ESL production
  • Set up and operate product coding and marking equipment
  • Support ESL filler operations and related production activities
  • Perform product sampling and complete associated documentation accurately
  • Maintain required production, quality, and sanitation records in a timely manner
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas according to company standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and operating areas
  • Relieve employees during scheduled breaks and meal periods as needed
  • Follow all GMP, food safety, quality, and workplace safety requirements
  • Work independently while ensuring production goals and quality standards are met
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Foreman

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Forklift and pallet jack certification, or ability to obtain certification

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to operate production and packaging equipment safely and effectively

Pay Range

$25.39-$32.39
