JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
Working under the direction of the ES&H supervisor, an ES&H Specialist II performs general environmental and/or safety support services, investigations, analyses, and other-directed assignments as either a member of a team or as an investigator.
Employee will be responsible for performing the following functions/duties:
A bachelor's degree in an ES&H-related field (i.e., engineering, chemistry, biology, or other science) is preferred or an in-depth, working knowledge of the technical concepts, principles, and requirements associated with the work unit is required for this position. This knowledge and these skills may be obtained by graduation from a two- to four-year technical institute or college, or equivalent formal technical training or military equivalent, and six (6) or more years of experience in a directly related technical working environment.
In addition, an ES&H Specialist II must possess the following qualifications:

Work is performed in a typical office environment. Occasional lifting (up to 75 pounds), sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness are required. Work is also performed in a large, active and remote environment. In regular and extreme weather conditions. Requirements can vary day to day or moment to moment and you’ll need to be flexible and capable of doing this.

JT4 employees will only operate equipment that they have been fully trained on and/or certified to operate. If working in a training capacity, employees must be always supervised by a competent trained or certified company employee. Under no circumstances should employees use another employee's equipment without permission from their immediate supervisor or manager. Conversely, employees should not allow other JT4 employees or employees of another employer to use JT4-owned or assigned equipment without proof of training and approval of the shop manager.
Travel to remote company locations will be required.

Ranges supported by JT4 include the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR), the National Space Test and Training Complex (NSTTC) at Schriever Air Force Base, the Utah Test and Training Range (UTTR), the Air Force Test Center 412th Test Wing (412TW) at Edwards Air Force Base, and the Navy China Lake Ranges (CLR) including Pt. Mugu, California.
JT4 is supported by several teammate companies on the J-Tech II Contract. Together we develop and maintain realistic integrated test and training environments. We prepare our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and air crews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
