ESG Manager (all genders)

Your future tasks:

  • Implements and maintains an environmental and social system compliant with ISO14001, the Equator Principles and the applicable IFC performance standards
  • Performs and documents regular operational ESG audits and inspections along the life-cycle of the project, on behalf of the project Director and in alignment with an audit program approved by the HSEQ Director.
  • Conduct thorough ESG risk assessments and audits of suppliers and contractors according with the project ESG requirements (e.g. Code of Conduct), supported by Legal and HR
  • Conduct environmental and social trainings and briefings
  • Collect, analyses and report on key ESG performance indicators for the project, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and internal shareholder requirements
  • Investigate environmental and social incidents on demand by the HSEQ Director
  • Define competences and skills on environmental and social management for the client representatives assigned to the packages

Your profile:

  • Advanced knowledge about ISO14001 and/or EMAS
  • Internal auditor as per IRCA requirements
  • Knowledge about local and international Environmental Laws and Regulations (e.g. waste officer duty requiring actions acc. to BImSchG, FFH-Guideline, BNatSchG, MARPOL)
  • Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, standards, and reporting requirements, specially Equator Principles and the applicable IFC performance standards and CSRD
  • Knowledge of Environmental and Social related and technical project documentation and procedures
  • Ability to interpret and verify RAMS and permits
  • Idealy bring a track record in Offshore construction works as well as works that influence environmental factors and risks for marine habitats and flora and fauna (e.g. underwater noise, Sediment re-suspension, oil leaks)
  • Proven experience cooperating with remote, diverse global teams
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and address ESG risks and opportunities
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with proficiency in the use of English
  • Commitment to driving positive environmental and social impacts while maintaining strong corporate governance
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or related field
  • Several years of experience in environmental and social management, including experience in environmental and social monitoring methods, environmental emergency response and grievance management, with substantial exposure to offshore wind or major infrastructure development
