ERMでは、日本のESG Advisory & Transaction Servicesチームに参画いただくコンサルタントまたはシニアコンサルタントを募集しています。本ポジションでは、M&A、投資、資金調達などのトランザクション案件において、ESG・EHS(環境・労働安全衛生)・環境デューデリジェンスを通じた支援を担当していただきます。
プライベートエクイティファンド、金融機関、投資家、企業クライアントに対し、重要なESG・EHS・環境リスク、潜在的負債、改善機会、バリュークリエーション機会を特定・評価します。また、ERMのグローバルネットワークに所属する多様な専門家と連携し、専門的な調査結果を投資判断や買収後の事業計画に活用できる実践的かつビジネス視点のあるインサイトへとまとめます。
本ポジションは、優れた分析力、コミュニケーション能力、プロジェクトマネジメント能力を有し、複雑な情報を整理・統合しながら、スピード感のあるトランザクション案件を推進できる方に適しています。デューデリジェンス業務に加え、買収後の改善施策や統合作業、ESGを通じた価値向上プロジェクトにも携わっていただきます。

ESG Due Diligence (ESGDD) Consultant / Senior Consultant
ERM is seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our ESG Advisory & Transaction Services team in Japan. This role focuses on supporting mergers and acquisitions (M&A), investments, financing and other transaction-related activities through ESG, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), and environmental due diligence assessments.
The successful candidate will work with private equity firms, financial institutions, investors, and corporate clients to identify and evaluate material ESG, EHS and environmental risks, liabilities, opportunities and value creation initiatives. Working alongside multidisciplinary technical specialists across ERM's global network, the candidate will help translate technical findings into clear, commercially relevant insights that support investment decision-making and post-acquisition planning. This role is suited to an individual with strong analytical, communication and client management skills who can effectively synthesize complex information, coordinate technical inputs and deliver practical recommendations in a fast-paced transaction environment. In addition to supporting due diligence engagements, the successful candidate will contribute to post-acquisition improvement initiatives, integration planning and other value creation activities that support long-term business performance and sustainable growth.

Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Business, Finance, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
