About Us

Vinarchy. Redefining Wine.

Established in 2025 following the merger of Accolade Wines and Pernod Ricard Winemakers, Vinarchy is an exceptional global wine company committed to redefining wine.

Crafting extraordinary wines in Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Italy, South Africa, Chile and the United States, and sharing them in almost every corner of the world, we are relentlessly innovative, ambitious and imaginative at every stage from grape to glass.

Innovative, ambitious and imaginative, Vinarchy challenges the conventions of the industry to lead, shape and grow the future of the wine category.

About the role

The ESG Analyst supports the delivery of Vinarchy’s ESG and climate transition strategy through robust data management, reporting, and analysis, with a strong focus on packaging sustainability across wine and beverage formats.

This role plays a critical part in managing high-quality packaging and ESG data across global operations, enabling transparent reporting, regulatory compliance, and data-driven insights to reduce environmental impacts across packaging, Scope 3 emissions, water, and waste within Vinarchy’s value chain.

Sustainability is at the heart of our company's vision. Our Environmental, Social and Governance roadmap is built around key pillars that address all the material risks of our business, from grape to glass. With clear 2030 objectives supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, our ESG roadmap builds on our past successes to ambitiously push our business further, using inclusive partnerships that bring shared value to all.

To achieve our Sustainability Goals there will be a need to focus on extending beyond our business and current partners, and connect with external research bodies, start-ups and government agencies to identify, develop, trial and implement new technologies, techniques and approaches.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Collect, validate, and manage ESG performance data with a strong emphasis on packaging metrics, including material composition, recyclability, recycled content and packaging intensity.
  • Collaborate with regional operations, procurement, and suppliers to improve packaging data accuracy, traceability and supplier transparency, and support sustainable sourcing and innovation in packaging materials.
  • Maintain and enhance ESG data governance processes to ensure audit readiness and alignment with regulatory requirements, including APCO, EPR schemes and PPWR.
  • Analyse packaging performance across Vinarchy’s portfolio, including supporting lifecycle assessments (LCAs), packaging foot printing and tracking Scope 3 emissions associated with packaging materials and suppliers.
  • Develop dashboards and visualisations to track sustainability performance, including packaging circularity, waste reduction, compliance status and progress against Vinarchy’s sustainable packaging commitments.
  • Assist in preparing ESG disclosures related to packaging sustainability and support responses to customer, retailer and investor ESG questionnaires, while tracking packaging-related regulatory developments across ANZ, EU and key export markets.
  • Support the selection, configuration and rollout of ESG software platforms, partnering with IT and vendors to develop user-friendly workflows and drive user onboarding, training and adoption across regions.
  • Provide analytical support for packaging optimisation and circular economy initiatives, including lightweighting of glass, improvements in recyclability and reduction of secondary and tertiary packaging, while working with Product Development and Marketing to embed sustainable packaging design principles.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Familiarity with key frameworks and regulations:
  • Experience working with complex product or packaging datasets
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data integrity and audit readiness
  • Ability to translate technical packaging data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualification in Compliance, Sustainability, Data Analytics, Engineering, Packaging, or related industry discipline.
  • 2–4 years’ experience in compliance, sustainability analytics, packaging sustainability, or data governance.

Other Requirements

  • Occasional travel may be required to operational sites or regional offices
  • Role may expand as ESG frameworks and regulations evolve

About Vinarchy

Established in 2025 following the merger of Accolade Wines and Pernod Ricard Winemakers, Vinarchy combines Vin (the French word for wine), with Archy (from the Ancient Greek word for leadership). Together it means wine leadership.

Vinarchy is one of the world’s leading dedicated wine companies and home to an incredible range of global brands led by Hardys, Campo Viejo and Jacob’s Creek. Our quality wines offer something for everyone, and every occasion – each bringing its own unique story to the world.

Our rich brand history stretches right back to the pioneering plantings of Johann Gramp and Thomas Hardy in the 1840s and 50s. Today, we craft wines in Australia, New Zealand, Spain and South Africa, with our global sourcing footprint also spanning premium grape growing regions in Italy, Argentina, France, the United States and Chile. We are proud to share our wines in almost every corner of the world.
