Job Description

Position: Escrow Assistant (Residential Transactions)

Location: Glendale, CA (Fully Onsite)

Contract: 8/3/2026 – 10/30/2026 (Potential Ext or Temp to Perm)

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM or 9 AM – 5:30 PM

Pay Range: $23.57 hourly, paid weekly.



The Escrow Assistant provides administrative and customer service support throughout the residential escrow closing process. This position may support an escrow team or work directly with an Escrow Officer to help ensure transactions are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support throughout the escrow process.
  • Open new escrow orders and enter closing statement information.
  • Gather and verify information required for transactions.
  • Prepare documents for escrow closings.
  • Handle transaction disbursements and post-closing follow-up.
  • Communicate requirements, updates, and other relevant information to clients.
  • Review and interpret agreements related to escrow closings.
  • Prepare all documents required to complete transactions.
  • Follow established departmental processes and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot routine issues and escalate complex matters when needed.
  • Recommend process improvements to support efficient operations.
  • Maintain professionalism and a positive, service-oriented attitude.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least two years of escrow-related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum requirement High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous customer service and administrative support experience.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to learn and work within company and client operating systems.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Working Conditions:

  • May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.
  • Use of computers and technology.
