The Escrow Assistant role in California’s Central Valley involves providing administrative and transactional support to Escrow Officers to ensure timely and accurate handling of residential and commercial real estate transactions. This includes file setup, document preparation, and communication coordination among parties involved.
What you’ll do• Open and maintain escrow files from start to close.• Collect lender/client info and respond to routine requests.• Keep data clean and current in escrow systems and Microsoft Office.• Prepare, assemble, and send escrow document packages.• Support signings and closings (documents, funds, and timelines).• Coordinate updates with agents, buyers, sellers, and lenders.
• High School Diploma Required.• College Level Courses a plus.
• 3 years or more preferred required.• Similar fast paced positions in lending, banking, real estate and office environments will be considered.
• Calm under pressure and steady when timelines shift.• Proactive follow-through—spots what’s missing and closes loops.• Strong prioritization: knows what must happen today to protect closing.• Learns fast, asks smart questions, and adapts to new processes.
This position is eligible to earn compensation in the range of $20/hourly based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience.
