Job Description

R_352583 Orace EBS Technical Developer

We will count on you to:

  • Translating Business Requirements into application code

  • Document the technical application specifications

  • Perform code reviews and align the solutions to architectural specifications

  • Work with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other cross-functional resources to define and deliver business impact projects & enhancements.

  • Collaborate with development team members to ensure proper implementation and integration of the solutions.

  • Support deployments during hyper care, troubleshoot production issues if needed / be available for on-call as needed

  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant best practices and business processes

  • Participate in and conduct peer code and deliverable reviews

What you need to have:

  • At least 8 -10 years of experience in IT as a software developer

  • Knowledge in Oracle Application Financial Modules - Payables, Receivables, General Ledger and iExpenses & iProcurement, OCI, OIC

  • Excellent knowledge in PL/SQL and Unix Shell Script

  • Experience in developing and customizing Oracle XML Publisher Reports, Workflow, WebADI

  • Oracle Application Framework developments, Business Events and Bursting

  • Experience in Oracle 12.2 Upgrade

  • Oracle Database and Performance Tuning

  • Ability to work on Interfaces & Extensions

  • SCM tools – GitHub, ADO

  • Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) practices

  • Experience in various project methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Waterfall, RUP, Scrum and Agile)

Nice to have:

  • Oracle Forms

  • Expertise in other programming languages e.g. Java, Python, Node JS

  • Supports and assists senior developers in developing codes, tests and debugs of software programs and enhancements to meet project plan goals.

  • Works under guidance from senior software developers.

  • Assists with repairing coding problems.

  • Provides technical support to internal clients on existing problems, escalates as appropriate.

  • Monitors trends and results from technical support calls to advise senior team members on performance of existing systems.
