Role: Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant / Business Analyst
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver effective Dynamics 365 (CE) solutions aligned to business objectives.
- Lead requirements gathering activities including stakeholder interviews, workshops, process walkthroughs and gap analysis.
- Analyse current (“as‑is”) business processes and design future (“to‑be”) solutions leveraging Dynamics 365 and Power Platform capabilities.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria and low‑level designs.
- Configure and customise Dynamics 365 applications (e.g. Sales, Customer Service, Dataverse entities) using out‑of‑the‑box features where possible.
- Design and document data models, relationships, business rules, forms, views, dashboards and security roles.
- Collaborate with developers on technical design, integrations, plugins, Power Automate flows and Power Apps, ensuring functional intent is met.
- Support solution design for integrations with external systems (e.g. core banking systems, loan platforms, ERP, document management tools).
- Ensure solutions adhere to Microsoft best practices, governance standards, security, compliance and performance guidelines.
- Own and manage the product backlog, prioritising requirements in collaboration with Product Owners and stakeholders.
- Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
- Define and execute functional testing strategies including system testing, UAT support and defect triage.
- Prepare and maintain functional documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, LLDs, process flows and configuration workbooks.
- Support data migration and data quality activities including mapping, validation and reconciliation.
- Assist with release planning, deployment readiness and post‑go‑live support.
- Deliver user training, demos and knowledge transfer sessions to business users and support teams.
- Continuously identify opportunities to optimise processes and enhance user experience through Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.

Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven experience as a Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant and/or Business Analyst on enterprise CRM or Power Platform implementations.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Engagement) and Dataverse
- Solid understanding of business analysis practices including requirements elicitation, process modelling, gap analysis and solution design.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional designs and user stories.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical audiences.
