We're looking for a ViewPoint Vista ERP Systems (Techno-Functional) Analyst to support and improve Trimble Viewpoint (Vista) ERP and ProjectSight project management platforms. You will work closely with finance, operations and project teams and IT. It means turning business needs into configurations, reports, integrations, and process improvements across the construction project lifecycle. This position reports to SVP, IT Enterprise applications.

Requirements

Functional

• Act as a subject-matter expert for Viewpoint Vista modules, including Job Cost, Project Management, Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Contract Billing, Payroll/HR, and Equipment.
• Configure and support ProjectSight workflows such as RFIs, submittals, change orders, daily reports, drawings, and document control.
• Configure and support General Ledger and accounting modules, including chart of accounts, fiscal periods, journal entries, allocations, intercompany, and month-end close.
• Configure and support VistaWeb, including user security, forms, dashboards, approval workflows, and self-service access.
• Working knowledge of and ability to support other modules of Construction One, View Point ERP eco system e.g. Vista Field management, Vista Field Service, Analytics etc.
• Gather requirements, map current and future processes, and write functional specifications.
• Configure security, workflows, custom fields, and approval routing to match business needs.
• Lead or support system testing, UAT, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Train end users and maintain user guides and SOPs.
• Handle support tickets, find root causes, and work with Trimble support on escalations.

Technical

• Write and tune SQL Server queries, views, and stored procedures against the Vista database.
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Crystal Reports, SSRS, and/or Power BI.
• Design and support integrations between Vista, ProjectSight, and third-party systems (e.g., estimating, payroll, document management, BI) using APIs, the Trimble integration platform, and ETL tools.
• Support data conversions, migrations, and data quality checks during implementations and upgrades.
• Take part in version upgrades, patch testing, and environment management, including cloud/hosted deployments.
• Document technical designs, data mappings, and integration specifications.

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Trimble Viewpoint Vista, in either a functional or technical role (ideally both).
• Hands-on experience with ProjectSight or a similar construction project management platform, such as Viewpoint Team or Procore.
• Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Vista General Ledger along with other accounting modules and VistaWeb.
• Solid understanding of construction accounting and project controls: job costing, WIP, retainage, change management, subcontract compliance, and certified payroll.
• Strong SQL skills (T-SQL, SQL Server) and experience writing reports.
• Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and writing functional specs.
• Clear communication with finance/project/operations stakeholders and technical teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Construction Management, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience, Masters degree preferred.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with the wider Trimble Construction One / Viewpoint One suite (e.g., Viewpoint Field View, Trimble Connect, Spectrum etc.).
• Integration experience with REST APIs, middleware or iPaaS tools, and Python or PowerShell scripting.
• MS Fabric, Power BI or other BI tool experience.
• Implementation or consulting experience across several clients.
• Viewpoint/Trimble certifications, or PMP, CPA, or CCIFP credentials.
