The ERP Specialist has the primary enterprise accountability of the organization’s ERP platform around Sales & Distribution (SD), Material management (MM) and Inventory Management (IM) functions to drive value for business stakeholders by providing strategy, leadership and direction. This includes implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP SD, MM and IM modules to optimize business processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of SAP SD, MM and IM functionalities, including order management, Purchase order management, Intercompany Stock transfer pricing, billing, shipping, and integration with other SAP modules. This role also requires managing the AMS teams in the China region on the respective modules.

Specific Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Analyze, maintain, design, build, test and deploy functional solutions in the SAP SD and MM/IM area, including other system integrations as necessary
• Proactively engage the business stakeholders through discussions to define clear business requirements
• Collaborate with functional and technical SAP teams and Business Process owners for cross-functional initiatives
• Participate and actively contribute to all ongoing initiatives including ticket and issue resolution, enhancements (WRICEF) and project-related activities
• Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures and other documentation, including functional and technical specifications, job aids, test scripts and other manuals as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (MM, FI, MDG, GTS etc.).
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, providing end-user support and training.
• Perform system testing, documentation, and validation for new implementations or upgrades.
• Work with key stakeholders to optimize sales and distribution workflows and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Stay updated on SAP best practices, new features, and industry trends.

Skills and Experience:

• A proven track record in designing, building and developing SAP OTC and MM/IM (Sales document types, Pricing, Output management, Billing, Purchase order, Goods movement).
• Multiple full life-cycle implementation experience in SAP SD, MM/IM module.
• Experience in SAP S/4 HANA.
• Experience working with 3PL model with SAP integration.
• Experience in SAP GTS and GSP application is plus.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimum supervision
• Strong analytical thinker, self-motivated and results-oriented team player capable of producing timely, high-quality deliverables
• A proactive professional with good presentation/communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Education:

Minimum Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business or related discipline.

Desired Educational Qualification:

• Master’s in Business or a related field or MBA / CPA
• A practical background in Sales and Operations
• SAP SD or MM/IM certification is a plus

Travel Requirements:

No ongoing travel expectations, but occasional travel to project sites may be needed.

Physical Requirements:
