The ERP Solution Architect designs business-driven, standards-based, and future-ready enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions within our global SAP landscape. In this role, you will design cross-functional SAP solutions that meet product requirements, business priorities, and enterprise standards while managing non-functional requirements and evolving the architecture throughout the product life cycle. By solving complex technical integration problems, defining reference architectures for modern interfaces, and aligning with the broader architecture community for governance, you will ensure robust SAP Order-to-Cash implementations that deliver enhanced value to the organization.
of the area
The ERP Order-to-Cash (O2C) domain is the architectural backbone of our global sales, delivery, and financial processes. We operate at the intersection of deep SAP functional logic and modern enterprise integration. Our strategic goal is to seamlessly connect SAP core modules (SD, MM, FI) with other SAP/non-SAP and integration platforms, transitioning to robust, event-driven integration models and scalable interfaces to future-proof our global operations.
Job Responsibilities
Scope / (Content Leadership): Designs ERP solutions that meet product requirements, business priorities, and enterprise standards within the SAP O2C context. Manages Non-Functional Requirements (NFR), fitness functions, and the overarching architecture for cross-functional processes spanning Sales, Logistics, and Finance. Documents and evolves the architecture throughout the product life cycle, and aligns with the architecture community for proper governance.
Accountability/Problem Solving: Solves complex problems, taking a new perspective on existing solutions and exercising judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. Maintains the vision, roadmap, and current landscape for the assigned ERP solution. Assesses and consults on impacts and dependencies of initiatives on capabilities, risk, and the application landscape. Creates conceptual and logical data models, taxonomies, and ontologies for the solution and its interfaces.
