About the Role

JTEKT Column Systems NA Corp is seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to support and enhance our ERP systems, optimize business processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across our U.S. sites. This role plays a key part in driving operational efficiency, supporting Plex ERP users, and ensuring secure, effective system performance aligned with business objectives.

The Business Systems Analyst reports directly to the Director of Finance/IT

Key Responsibilities

Business Process & ERP Support

• Lead business process reviews and develop optimization strategies.
• Review, optimize, and document business processes for operational efficiency.
• Research, test, and implement ERP system changes and improvements.
• Determine optimized ERP configurations in collaboration with users and managers.
• Participate in major ERP projects, including module activation and process standardization.
• Apply industry best practices to enhance company efficiency through ERP.

Plex ERP Administration

• Support users across U.S. sites with technical and analytical ERP services.
• Configure and customize Plex ERP screens, roles, and navigation for UX implementation.
• Provide training, change management, and support for ERP system users.
• Respond to ERP user requests via a ticketing system.
• Develop and maintain documentation, metrics, and configuration strategies.

Operational & Security Responsibilities

• Monitor, identify, and resolve critical business issues and risks proactively.
• Evaluate materials and products submitted for calibration to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Monitor the effectiveness of security controls and adjust as needed.
• Participate in problem-solving workshops to meet customer expectations.
• Implement both short-term fixes and long-term process improvements.
• Undertake special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of Plex ERP configuration, customization, and administration.
• Expertise in Plex modules such as sales, purchasing, planning, and shipping.
• Experience in manufacturing business processes.
• Proven success in Plex ERP standardization and UX migration projects.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Comfortable working with large, complex data sets.
• Strong understanding of integrated systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Commitment to confidentiality and data integrity.
• Willingness to travel locally as needed.

Work Environment

This role operates in both professional office and manufacturing environments. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and moderate noise levels may occur. Standard office equipment is used regularly.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to navigate various departments and facilities.

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday–Friday
• Typical hours: 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• Extended hours and occasional weekend work may be required.
