SAP ERP Platform Director

Global Functions, is looking for an SAP ERP Platform Directorto be based at Mexico City!

Purpose

The ERP IT Director is responsible for defining, planning, and executing SAP ERP roadmap for Orbia’s Polymer Solutions and Flour & Energy Material businesses. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to ensure technology solutions align with organizational goals. The Director will lead a team of IT professionals, manage vendor and partner relationships, and drive modernization aligned with business strategy and priority

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee existing ECC and S4 architecture to support business operations and growth.
  • Lead SAP ERP modernization projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business needs.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and facilitate effective communication.
  • Provide leadership, fostering collaboration and professional development.
  • Oversee vendor and partner management, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Right-size change and investment initiatives to maximize business value.
  • Champion AI enablement to improve efficiency and decision-making

Knowledge/ Experience Required

  • Bachelors, MBA preferred
  • Language(s) and level of proficiency: English and Spanish fluency required
  • Proven experience with ECC architecture and SAP ERP modernization.
  • Strong background in business stakeholder management and team leadership.
  • Experience managing vendors and partners in complex IT environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and investment strategies.
  • Knowledge of AI integration and enablement within ERP platforms.
