ERP Developer (Odoo)

We are seeking a skilled ERP Developer (Odoo) to design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade ERP solutions based on the Odoo platform This role is responsible for the full application lifecycle, including system design, customization, integration, deployment, and ongoing support. The ideal candidate will combine strong Odoo development expertise with experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, system architecture, security, and production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and enhance Odoo modules and applications to meet business requirements.
• Design scalable, maintainable, and high-performing Odoo solutions and system architectures.
• Integrate Odoo with internal and external systems using REST APIs, JSON-RPC, and other integration technologies.
• Perform Odoo version upgrades, database migrations, and custom module migrations.
• Manage and maintain Development, UAT, Staging, and Production environments.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize Odoo applications on Linux-based infrastructure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Administer PostgreSQL databases, including backup and recovery processes, performance tuning, and maintenance.
• Configure and maintain Nginx, reverse proxies, SSL/TLS certificates, DNS services, and related networking components.
• Implement security best practices, including system hardening, access controls, and vulnerability mitigation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to applications, databases, servers, integrations, and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective ERP solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Odoo development, ERP implementation, DevOps, or related technical roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python and the Odoo Framework
• Proven experience developing and maintaining custom Odoo modules.
• Solid understanding of Odoo ORM, Models, Views, Security, Access Rights, and Record Rules.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL.
• Experience with REST API and JSON-RPC integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Linux server administration (Ubuntu preferred).
• Familiarity with Git-based source control and development workflows.
• Experience configuring Nginx, SSL/TLS, DNS, and reverse proxy services.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with both Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise editions.
• Experience performing Odoo version upgrades and migrations.
• Knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Elastic Load Balancing, and Route 53.
• Experience designing highly available and scalable infrastructure architectures.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL performance tuning, optimization, and replication.
• Experience with application and server security hardening.
• Knowledge of monitoring, centralized logging, and alerting solutions.
• Experience developing backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Familiarity with AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.
• Understanding of business processes within ERP environments, including CRM, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, and Maintenance.
