As STARK transitions from AS400/Aspect4 to a modernized IT platform, we are looking for a driven specialist to join our experienced team supporting business functions across Denmark and Norway. You will play a key role in supporting our current ERP landscape while collaborating closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, development teams, and external partners to shape the solutions of tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities

As Aspect4 / AS400 Specialist, you take responsibility for safeguarding the stability, performance, and reliability of our current ERP landscape. You will play a key role in ensuring operational stability of our current ERP platform while supporting colleagues across Denmark and Norway and ensure that business‑critical processes run smoothly by taking on a central role in issue resolution, system monitoring, and process clarity. In your daily work, your key responsibilities will be to:

• Provide 2nd‑level support to Aspect4 users and act as their trusted problem‑solver
• Use SQL to investigate issues and uncover root causes across interconnected systems
• Serve as a domain expert for internal teams and external partners working with AS400/Aspect4
• Monitor systems and support automated event handling to keep operations stable
• Contribute with data‑driven insights, QA testing before UAT, and clear functional documentation
  

The position is based at STARK Group’s headquarters in Viby J, Aarhus, where you will be part of a small and experienced team of six specialists who all sit at the same location, enabling close collaboration, quick knowledge sharing, and strong team cohesion in the daily work.

What You Bring

We are looking for someone who is structured, analytical and motivated by working across systems, data and stakeholders. You enjoy turning complexity into clarity and ensuring stable, well‑functioning solutions. To succeed in this role, you bring:

• Solid experience with Aspect4 - ideally including Aspect4 Wood - combined with hands‑on AS400 expertise and an understanding of its role in legacy ERP environments
• A strong analytical mindset supported by SQL proficiency, enabling you to capture business requirements and navigate complex landscapes with multiple internal and external systems
• Basic familiarity with software development practices and ways of working in scrum teams, allowing you to collaborate effectively with developers, Product Owners and technical specialists
• Clear and confident communication skills in both Danish and English, and the ability to engage well with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders; experience from retail or the builders’ merchant industry is an advantage, but not a requirement
