of Primary Functions To hook up concrete members to crane so that the erection lead and rigger have members readily available for setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high quality products.
Checks fuel and lubricant levels of flat bed truck.
Hooks up crane chokers to lifting loops or bolts on swivels depending on members.
Loads shipping 4x4 boards off and on trailers.
Directs truck drivers to drop-off locations.
Unloads various erection materials off trailers and stores in proper location.
Sends any tools and equipment up to erection crew when needed by hooking to the crane.
Sweeps foundation before panels are set.
Mixes grout in wheelbarrow.
Builds grout frame boxes and pours grout around set columns.
Helps relocate crane by raising balance legs, moving wood platforms to new location, directing crane, reposition legs until crane is level.
Helps other crew members with ground work, helps assemble and disassemble crane.
Performs miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.
Job Specifications or Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Previous experience in finishing concrete is required.
