Provides and assists other nursing staff members in the delivery of direct patient care under the direction of the RN. Must have strong teamwork skills. Assists in the coordination of communication activities in the nurse's station. Demonstrates ability to perform data entry for all lab/radiology testing. Transports patients, performs phlebotomy, and performs EKG testing. Maintains supply levels in unit.
High School Diploma or GED required. EMT certification or CNA certification required. BCLS certification is required. Avade workplace violence prevention training (Level III) required after hire or transfer, not to exceed 3 months, and maintained annually. Training provided in-house. EXPERIENCE: Typing and computer skills in addition to knowledge of medical terminology required.
