THE TEAM
Our Employee Relations team is a specialist function within People Service Delivery, providing expert advice, guidance and coaching across the business. We support managers at all levels to navigate a wide range of employee matters, ensuring consistency, fairness and strong risk management.

We’re a team that goes beyond casework. We focus on continuous improvement, building capability, and empowering managers through tools, training and insight-led interventions that strengthen how we manage people across easyJet.


THE ROLE
As an Employee Relations Partner, you’ll act as a strategic subject matter expert, partnering with business leaders and HR colleagues to deliver forward-looking ER support that drives meaningful business impact.

You’ll operate beyond traditional case management, using insight and influence to shape decisions, proactively manage risk and embed sustainable improvements across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include;
> Oversee complex and high-risk ER matters, ensuring effective resolution and robust risk management.
> Operate beyond traditional case management, with a strong focus on insight, influence, accountability and business impact.
> Identify trends, risks and themes, using data and insight to drive proactive interventions and improve outcomes.
> Hold the business to account for ER outcomes, constructively challenging stakeholders to drive sustainable change.
> Take ownership from problem identification through to resolution, addressing root causes and leading end to end interventions.
> Deliver solutions including training, communications, manager capability, process improvements and ER guidance.
> Lead the ER aspects of change activity, including consultation processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
> Drive greater self service, manager ownership and policy effectiveness across the business.
> Lead strategic initiatives on behalf of the Head of Employee Relations and Policy, from inception through to implementation.
> Provide expert guidance on UK employment law and people policy, ensuring consistent and practical application.
> Build strong relationships with stakeholders including leaders, HR Business Partners, unions and consultative groups.
> Use data and metrics to generate insights, inform action plans and influence decision making.
> Support large-scale organisational change, including TUPE, redundancy and redeployment programmes.

Requirements of the Role

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
> Demonstrable experience in Employee Relations, managing complex and high-risk cases.
> Strong knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application.
> Proven ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
> Experience leading or supporting large-scale change programmes with ER implications.
> Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insight and action.
> Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt style to audience.
> Ability to manage multiple priorities, work at pace and maintain attention to detail.
> Experience building relationships with unions or consultative bodies is beneficial.
> A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering business impact.

PRACTICALITIES
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60% of our time per month in the office
