Equities Derivatives Sales Origination (APAC) — Support origination and pricing of equity derivatives and structured products, generate research-driven trade ideas and client materials, and manage end-to-end trade lifecycle processes. Drive desk efficiency through Python-based automation and continuous process improvement while partnering across Sales, Trading, Structuring, Operations, and Legal.

The Equities Derivatives Sales Origination Team in APAC partners closely with Sales, Trading, Structuring, Research, Operations, and Legal to originate and execute equity derivatives and structured investment solutions tailored to client needs. This role is suited to someone who brings strong derivatives fundamentals, a disciplined controls mindset, and the ability to work precisely in a fast-paced, multi-location environment while contributing to automation and scalable process improvements.

As an Analyst within the Equities Derivatives Sales Origination Team – APAC, you will support the origination, structuring, and execution of equity derivatives and structured investment products by translating client needs into suitable solutions, providing pricing on derivative structures, and partnering with Sales, Trading, Structuring, Research, Operations, and Legal across the trade lifecycle. You will help generate trade ideas informed by macroeconomic drivers and research, produce client-facing pitch materials and factsheets, and contribute to post-trade support and client queries. You will also play a key role in improving and automating desk workflows by developing Python-based tools to enhance efficiency, controls, and scalability.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaboratively, work as part of a sales origination team that focuses primarily on equity derivatives and structured investment products. Based on client requirements, determining suitable products and provide pricing on derivative structures using internal flow pricing models or by combining various option strategies for bespoke products, and help trade lifecycle process like instrument creation, assist with booking, note issuance process, term sheet preparation.
  • Proactively, drive the process improvement and automation agenda for the sales team. Develop process automations for daily tasks using Python.
  • Analytically, analyzing research reports from various sources and creating trade ideas by using macroeconomic drivers, optimizing payoffs, and generating strategies relevant for our client base.
  • Strategically, combining the product knowledge with the market research and generating pitch books / factsheets which highlight why a particular product is suited for the current environment and backtesting the results.
  • Diligently, taking responsibility for post trade lifecycle events and assist with any client queries (settlements issues, lifecycle calculations, reconciliations, legal document checks).

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:


• Strong knowledge of derivatives and greeks – indices, futures, and options
• Strong knowledge of Equities, Rates, FX, and Commodities
• Knowledge of VBA and any object oriented programming language (specifically Python)
• Close attention to detail and ability to work at very high standards of precision
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Good communication and team skills in a multi-location set u
