As an Analyst/Associate on our Asia Systematic Trading team, you will help shape the future of systematic equities and equity derivatives trading across Asian exchanges. You’ll apply your strong quantitative and technical skills to deliver market-leading performance and accelerate the evolution of our trading platform.

As an Analyst/Associate, Asia Systematic Trader within the Equity Derivatives team, you will contribute to the research, development, and execution of systematic trading strategies across Asian markets. You will partner closely with traders, quants, and technologists to manage risk and P&L, enhance trading systems and algorithms, and support robust pre- and post-trade analytics. Your market knowledge and technical expertise will help maintain our competitive edge and promote a culture of innovation and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with quants and technologists to develop systematic trading and derivatives strategies
  • Design, development, and enhance proprietary trading systems for best-in-class performance
  • Innovate across alpha generation, pricing/quoting, execution, hedging, and position/risk management to improve risk-adjusted returns and resilience.

  • Monitor and interpret market structure changes, exchange microstructure, regulatory developments, and competitor behavior; translate insights into strategy and platform enhancements.

  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and control functions to ensure seamless trading operations and compliance
  • Product and maintain pre-trade and post-trade analytics, P&L attribution, and performance monitoring to diagnose drivers, validate hypotheses, and improve decision-making.
  • Support incident management and root-cause analysis for trading events, including remediation and prevention through process and system improvements.

  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders across trading, quant, technology, and control functions; contribute to a culture of accountability and high standards.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Minimum 1-5 years of experience in systematic trading, equity derivatives, electronic market making, or related quantitative trading roles, with a proven track record of leadership
  • Experience working with low-latency systematic trading systems is advantageous
  • Demonstrated capability to design, run, and monitor systematic trading strategies with disciplined risk management.

  • Good understanding of Asian financial markets, listed derivatives, warrants, CBBCs, and options
  • Strong quantitative reasoning and comfort with data science to support strategy development and ongoing calibration.

  • Experience with performance analysis, including P&L analytics, attribution, latency and trade-level diagnostics.

  • Strong proficiency in Python (required), including production-quality implementation and debugging.

  • Experience in risk management, P&L analytics, and trading algorithms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and trading concepts to diverse stakeholders.

  • Experience collaborating across business, technology, and control functions

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Advanced degree in quantitative subjects (Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, etc.)
  • Familiar with exchange connectivity, market data infrastructure, and trading system architecture
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and market structure in Asian exchanges
  • Proficiency in Python and KDB+/q
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently and apply initiative
