The team provides analytical, strategic, and operational thought leadership to senior management, helping drive business priorities through strategic initiatives and day-to-day execution. As a member of the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Business Management group, you will serve as the data and analytics “engine” for the Americas ECM franchise—an organization of approximately 150 professionals generating ~$2.0B in annual revenue. You will partner closely with the Bankers and the broader Business Management team to deliver business performance analysis and management materials used to monitor results, market dynamics, and strategic priorities.

This role is based in New York and requires five days per week in the office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Fee & pipeline analysis: Monitor and interpret ECM trends by analyzing booked fees and forward deal pipeline activity. Deliver insights on key drivers and performance shifts to finance partners and senior management.
  • Market & competitor analysis: Analyze market and competitor data to benchmark JPMorgan performance versus investment banking peers and identify drivers behind competitive trends.
  • Management reporting: Produce weekly updates for senior management, including deals announced/closed/priced, new mandates, pipeline and forecast movements, and other key performance metrics.
  • Business reviews & presentations: Develop content for Business Reviews and Town Halls. Evaluate revenue, expense, and competitor metrics to highlight performance drivers and emerging risk areas.
  • Data management: Build and maintain databases to track proprietary deal-related information not available in public sources, enabling deeper and more differentiated analysis.
  • Banker metrics: Prepare and summarize banker KPI reporting used in year-end evaluation and compensation processes.
  • Ad hoc analysis: Partner with stakeholders to respond to ad hoc requests that support the growth and development of the business.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong analytical skill set, including fee/pipeline analysis and league table interpretation
  • Solid analytical fundamentals, including basic financial modeling
  • General understanding of investment banking products, or a strong interest in learning
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Resourceful, collaborative team player with a positive attitude
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task with rigor and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage priorities effectively
  • Demonstrated openness to innovation and new technology adoption
