As a Project Manager/Business Analyst within the Equities Operations Transformation team, you will lead and deliver process, control, data, and technology change across the Securities Borrowing & Lending (SB&L) middle office. You will own end-to-end requirements, partner with stakeholders across operations, product, technology, and controls, and ensure solutions deliver measurable outcomes. You’ll drive process redesign, control uplift, and platform convergence, supporting the adoption of new operating models and technology.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage project plans, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and governance updates
  • Map and optimize end-to-end workflows, including trade capture, settlements, collateral, margining, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting
  • Partner with operational risk and controls to define and embed key risk indicators, control design, and remediation plans
  • Identify root causes and drive structural fixes, focusing on data quality and process handoffs
  • Translate business outcomes into clear technology deliverables and support platform enhancements and migrations
  • Support user acceptance testing, defect triage, cutover planning, and hypercare readiness
  • Build strong relationships with middle office leaders, front office partners, operations, technology, and finance
  • Run working groups and decision forums, ensuring adoption through training, runbooks, and knowledge transfer

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5 year of experience working in the financial industry with expertise in product/project delivery
  • Experience in securities borrowing and lending, securities finance, or adjacent post-trade domains (equity finance, prime, collateral, settlements, custody operations)
  • Proven track record delivering transformation or change as a business analyst, project manager, or hybrid in a middle office or post-trade environment
  • Strong skills in requirements elicitation, documentation, and process mapping
  • Experience managing projects, including risk, action, issue, and dependency tracking, and stakeholder management
  • Strong root cause analysis and structured problem-solving abilities
  • Comfort working across operations and technology teams, including agile delivery models
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
