Dyson Singapore is currently looking for an Equipment Technician to be based in our Singapore Advanced Manufacturing facility located in Pioneer to support our automated manufacturing lines.
Accountabilities:
• Minimize equipment downtime & ensure production meets target output & yield.
• Execute effective preventive maintenance & production line support.
• Provide first level trouble shooting & resolve production stoppages due to equipment issues
• Document & report all line stoppages due to equipment or technical issue.
• Perform process control checks where applicable. Minimize equipment downtime & ensure production meets target output & yield.
• Provide technical support to production operation in meeting output & quality.
• Participate in line set-up activities.
• Ensure workstations are in excellent 5S housekeeping condition.
• Work with engineers & production in continuous improvement projects.
Skills:
• At least 3 years of work experience in an automated line environment. ITC or Diploma in Mechatronic/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering – minimum requirement
• Experience in servo motors and intelligent PC’s is an added advantage
• Flexibility and initiative. You pre-empt problems and seize opportunities without waiting to be told.
• Collaborative working. You consistently share your knowledge and findings with others in a clear and accessible way.
• Willing to work shifts and overtime. Passion for solving and resolving issues.
