Summary / Position Purpose:
The Equipment Technician will clean, repair, and maintain all equipment and tooling to ensure proper and safe operations by following documented processes.

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:
- Clean, maintain and repair all equipment in a production environment.
- Understand proper machine set-up and operation.
- Understand operating procedures and proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Continually improve equipment to maximize safety and productivity.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and well-organized work environment.
- Assist production workers to troubleshoot and setup equipment when necessary.
- Ability to manage several tasks at once and work well with all co-workers.
- Attain required qualified training hours per fiscal year.
- Indirectly and directly responsible for product quality.
- Manage other duties as assigned.

QualificationsEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance and repair experience.
- Working knowledge must include pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and plumbing.
- Knowledge of 55-gallon ram pumps and piston fillers a plus.
- Working knowledge of accident prevention practices.
- Mechanical ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Time management skills
- Attentive to detail
- General knowledge of safety and accident prevention practices.
- Positive team attitude
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. on occasion.
