Environmental Conditions
Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, No contact lens allowed; prescriptive glasses will be provided, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift
Clean equipment and rooms according to definedStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs)while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices(GMPs)Diligently clean andmaintainprocessing equipment according to established procedures to ensure proper processing and safe practices are used.
Essential Functions:
Cleanstainless-steeldrums, and all plastic containers used forpackaging operations.
Clean portable equipment/ equipment partsforPackagingas per SOPs
Cleanall purified water andproduct transfer hosesas perSOP’s
Wash all laundry itemsasrequired
Clean all pallets used in GMP areas of the facility
Retrieve cleaning agents from storage and manage the inventory of these agents.
Maintain a safe working environment and report potential hazards.
Perform alternating or rotating shift work
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school diploma/General Educational Development (GED) Certificate isrequired
Experience:
1 year experience in pharmaceutical, food or cosmetic related manufacturing.
Equivalency
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.
Knowledge,Skills,and Abilities:
Ability tomaintainrecords of activities as instructed.Abilityto followinstructionwith attention to detail.Ability tolift upto 40 lbs Workswell with limited supervision in a team environment. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices is an asset.Proficiencyusing Microsoft Office software applications.Proficiencywith the English language.

Physical Requirements:
Position requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move aboutmanufacturing/officelocations; ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch periodically for prolonged periods of time; manipulation (lift, carry, move) of light to medium weights ofup to 40pounds; arm, hand and finger dexterity; visual acuity to operate equipment, and read materials for prolonged periods of time; ability to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear for prolonged periods of time.Usually in a comfortableenvironment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust,loudnoise, bright lights,fumesorodour Use of Personal Protective equipment isrequiredand may include any of the following: safety glasses, safety shoes, lab coat, gloves,hair net, beard cover,safety apron, respirator.
Compensation
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Ontario is $36,608.00–$49,150.00.
