Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our equipment rental department as an Inside Sales Associate. This role will primarily involve assisting Trade Partner (TP) customers with their equipment rental needs, managing rental orders, and providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for TP customers
    inquiring about equipment rentals. Provide excellent customer service by
    addressing inquiries, recommending suitable equipment based on customer
    needs, and ensuring a positive rental experience.
  • Rental Coordination: Manage rental orders from initial inquiry to equipment
    return. Coordinate equipment availability, reservations, and scheduling to meet
    customer demands.
  • Order Processing: Process rental orders accurately and efficiently using our
    rental management software. Ensure all necessary paperwork, including rental
    agreements and invoices, are completed promptly and accurately.
  • Equipment Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of our equipment
    inventory, including specifications, capabilities, and proper usage. Provide
    guidance and recommendations to customers regarding equipment selection and
    usage.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring equipment inventory levels and
    availability. Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure equipment is properly
    maintained, serviced, and ready for rental.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential rental
    opportunities and support rental-related sales initiatives. Provide product
    information and assist with pricing and quotes as needed.
  • Safety Compliance: Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all
    safety protocols and guidelines. Educate customers on proper equipment usage
    and safety precautions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in business
    administration or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or equipment rental is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and rental management
    software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
    effectively.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment and industry trends is desirable.
