Are you a skilled CDL driver who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a hands-on team? Join our operations crew in Albany, GA, where your driving and equipment skills help keep essential water and utility systems running smoothly for the community.
What You’ll Do
As an Equipment Operator, you’ll play a key role in supporting water, wastewater, and utility operations. From operating heavy equipment to assisting with pipeline projects, no two days will be the same.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Operating excavation, trenching, and lifting equipment safely and efficiently
• Assisting with water main, pipeline, and wastewater system projects
• Driving company vehicles to transport tools, materials, and equipment
• Performing daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Supporting crews with field operations, repairs, and emergency response work

What You Bring
We’re looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who take pride in their work.
Required:
• High school diploma or GED
• 2–4 years of experience in equipment operation or utility field work
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
• Knowledge of water or wastewater systems preferred
Physical & Work Environment
• Regular lifting (up to 60 lbs), climbing, and operating heavy equipment
• Outdoor work on construction sites, utility systems, and roadways
• Exposure to water, wastewater, and varying weather conditions
• Local travel to job sites throughout the Albany area
