This is a fulltime maintenance position working 40 hours a week (4/10's). There is no per diem and no relocation assistance

Equipment Operator Master

The Equipment Operator Master is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment in support of construction, maintenance, earthwork, material handling, and site development activities. The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced operating skills, maintain productivity while adhering to all site safety requirements, and support daily project objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of heavy construction equipment, including but not limited to:
    • Excavators
    • Dozers
    • Loaders
    • Motor graders
    • Backhoes
    • Rollers
    • Haul trucks and similar equipment
  • Perform pre-use inspections and routine equipment checks.
  • Conduct daily equipment maintenance, lubrication, and housekeeping.
  • Load, unload, transport, and position materials as required.
  • Perform earthmoving, grading, trenching, excavation, backfilling, and material handling operations.
  • Read and follow site plans, work instructions, and supervisor direction.
  • Work safely around personnel, underground utilities, structures, and operating facilities.
  • Assist craft personnel and support crews as required.
  • Maintain compliance with all client, company, and site-specific safety procedures.
  • Accurately complete required inspection reports, equipment logs, and operational documentation.
  • Report equipment deficiencies, safety concerns, and operational issues immediately.

Minimum Qualifications

  • NCCER Equipment Operator Certification, CDL, or equivalent industry-recognized certification.
  • Valid Driver's License (required).
  • Experience: 4yrs
  • Demonstrated experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment at a master/operator level.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of excavation, grading, and material handling practices.
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment and site-access requirements.

Work may be performed in industrial and construction environments with exposure to weather conditions, temperature extremes, noise, dust, fumes, moving equipment, vibration, and other site-specific hazards. Employees must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and meet all customer, site, regulatory, medical, and fitness-for-duty requirements applicable to the position.

Must be able to perform all job duties while maintaining a constant commitment to safety, quality, and productivity expectations.
