Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth, rock, gravel, or other materials using excavators, dozers and others.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth, rock, gravel, or other materials
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
  • Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective completion of projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and other project specifications
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience operating heavy equipment
  • Training on equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, and other project specifications
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines
