Job Description Summary

This is a highly skilled position involving the operation of off-road haul trucks in an open pit mining operation. Applicants must have experience operating haul trucks, rock trucks, articulated dump trucks, or similar heavy equipment. Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections with proper documentation.
• Safely and efficiently operate off-road haul trucks in quarry and mining operations.
• Transport materials throughout the site while following designated haul routes.
• Report equipment issues and safety concerns to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Experience operating haul trucks or similar heavy equipment.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow MSHA/OSHA guidelines.
• Reliable attendance.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
