Your Opportunity:
Taylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator I to join our 2nd shift production team. In this role, you will operate printing equipment, monitor product quality, perform routine equipment maintenance, and help keep production running safely and efficiently.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate printing press equipment according to job specifications, quality standards, and established procedures.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance to help ensure reliable operation and quality output.
  • Prepare inks to achieve proper color and consistency.
  • Verify paper type, size, color, and quantity before production.
  • Check plates to ensure the correct format is being used.
  • Visually inspect printed materials throughout each run to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Work with the Production Team to prioritize jobs and adjust production as deadlines or customer requirements change.
  • Follow all safety requirements for the job, equipment, and work area.

Your Shift: 2nd Shift Monday – Thursday, 3:00 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.

You Must Have:

  • Ability to set and adjust equipment mechanisms to required tolerances.
  • Strong basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with production equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand job instructions, specifications, and procedures.

Requirements Within This Position:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
  • Constantly operate machinery and handle products, including printed materials.
  • Frequently required to move throughout the facility.
  • Regularly move up to 25+ pounds through lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying.

We Would Also Prefer:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience working with close tolerances.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good color discernment.
