Job Description

Martin Marietta is currently looking for a prompt, hard-working individual to join our rock-solid team at our Murfreesboro Quarry. This position is responsible for operating a variety of equipment and help with plant maintenance, production and equipment operation.  Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Operates production equipment as directed within the company guidelines and safety standards
• Uses standard operating procedures to troubleshoot malfunctions or issues
• Under direct supervision, adjusts equipment to maximize production
• In addition to the primary responsibilities outlined, the successful candidate may be expected to take on other tasks and assignments as required, including but not limited to duties outside the typical scope of the role to support overall team operations and organizational needs. Flexibility and adaptability to evolving job demands are essential.

Minimum Education Details

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Valid US driver's license

Minimum Experience Required

• 1+ year related experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Production equipment operation
• Mechanical aptitude
• Troubleshooting
• OSHA and MSHA regulations
• Time management

Physical Requirements

• Must have hand-eye coordination and vision to safely operate mobile equipment
• Must be able to perform duties in a safe manner.  This job requires the ability to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and hearing protection
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Able to lift 25 pounds
• Willing and able to use a shovel when required
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Able to work from elevated platforms
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical/drug/alcohol test
