Machine Operator | Golden Valley | Direct Hire | 1st shift M-TH 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM | $25.50/hr

The Machine Operator is responsible for the setup, daily operation, and quality of products produced on the machine. This role includes light maintenance duties and requires regular performance monitoring to meet production goals. The position involves ensuring that machinery is running smoothly, minimizing waste, and meeting quality standards.

Machine Responsibilities:

  • Ensure machine set-up is accurate by reviewing job tickets and Bills of Materials (BOM).
  • Monitor the machine's operation to maintain efficiency and minimize scrap.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth production runs.
  • Direct, train, and supervise an assistant operator, ensuring proper machine handling and safety.
  • Complete accurate paperwork at the end of each shift, maintaining detailed records.
  • Conduct in-process inspections to verify that the product meets quality specifications.

Machine Operator Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 months of relevant experience preferred, with training available for the right candidate.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow basic instructions.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic math skills, including ability to measure using a ruler and work with fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks like lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
