What You'll Be Doing
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment and machinery
Repair and replace damaged/worn parts, lines and components.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects.
Collaborate with team members to complete maintenance tasks and projects
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections
What Are We Looking For
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies
Flexibility to work 10-12 hrs/day, including Saturdays and overtime as needed
Knowledge/understanding of 12v/24v electrical systems.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Must be punctual and have reliable transportation
Work Environment
This position functions predominantly in the underground mine with room heights of 27' tall and involves working in a heavy industrial environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. The role requires physical activity including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
What We Offer
$27-28.76/hr with an additional $1.00/hr underground rate
$2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year)
