What You'll Be Doing

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment and machinery

• Repair and replace damaged/worn parts, lines and components.

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency

• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects.

• Collaborate with team members to complete maintenance tasks and projects

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections

What Are We Looking For

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

• Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies

• Flexibility to work 10-12 hrs/day, including Saturdays and overtime as needed

• Knowledge/understanding of 12v/24v electrical systems.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

• Must be punctual and have reliable transportation

Work Environment
This position functions predominantly in the underground mine with room heights of 27' tall and involves working in a heavy industrial environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. The role requires physical activity including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.

What We Offer

• $27-28.76/hr with an additional $1.00/hr underground rate

• $2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year)
