You as an Equipment Mechanic will:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, gas and diesel systems.
• Maintain and service equipment including skid steers, mini-excavators, telehandlers, scissor lifts, forklifts, UTVs, generators and small equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Travel to job sites for service calls and field repairs.
• Determine whether equipment is safe to return to service.
• Complete work orders and electronic service documentation accurately and on time.
• Communicate equipment status and repair requirements to Operations, Service teams and customers.
• Maintain the assigned service vehicle, tools and equipment in a clean and professional condition.
• Assist with parts and equipment pickup or delivery as required.
• Follow company and job-site safety requirements.

Is this the right role for you?

• 3–5 years of experience repairing construction equipment or similar.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, gas and diesel systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
• Ability to read service manuals, electrical schematics and hydraulic diagrams.
• Strong communication, organizational and customer-service skills.
• Ability to complete electronic work orders using a computer, tablet or mobile device.
• Must provide standard hand tools; specialty tools will be provided.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• The hourly rate for this role is $35.00 - $45.00.
