Possess knowledge and expertise in tasks associated with mobile equipment and machinery maintenance such as:
· Diesel and Gasoline engine repair and maintenance, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems
· Cutting, welding, and metal fabrication
· Troubleshooting, diagnosis, and correction of recurring problems
· Basic schematic and parts diagram reading ability
· Operate heavy equipment to facilitate maintenance
· Demonstrated interest, experience, and expertise in mobile equipment maintenance and related mechanic work
· Welding skills including safety welding
· Strong teamwork and participation skills
· Strong safety awareness and performance
· Self-starter individual able to change priorities as necessary to meet needs of the operation
· Effective communication skills
· A strong service-oriented attitude consistent with the Maintenance Department role in a self-directed work team organization
· Any related education and training
· Qualities considered a ‘plus’ include:
· Electrical skills
