
LOCATION: Urbana Country Club, Urbana, IL
POSITION TITLE: Equipment Manager/Technician
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the golf course superintendent, the equipment manager oversees a comprehensive fleet maintenance program. The program includes; major and minor mechanical repairs of equipment, keeping records of parts / labor / maintenance intervals, placing orders for parts / supplies and adhering to budget guidelines for equipment maintenance. The equipment manager places safety as a top priority in the shop and with fellow employees. He / She also will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized and safe environment that sets a positive example for others.

Classification: Full time/hourly
35-45 hours/week
Salary: $21.00-$29.00/hour (commensurate with experience)

Previous golf course equipment maintenance experience is preferred, but will consider candidates with a strong mechanical / trades background who are fast learners, professional and team players. Requirements
A High School Diploma along with being able to clear a background check and 10 panel drug screen. We are willing to work with someone who has no golf course equipment experience, but you must has the basic understanding of small engine mechanics and more. It's a position you can grow within and feel supported. If you are interested, I encourage you to apply and we can have a conversation, it might be just what you are looking for.
Basic computer skills and being able to stay organized and maintain maintenance records is a must for the this position. We will support and train you if needed. Willingness to learn and be apart of the team is key, the rest will follow
