As a member of the Innovation Equipment team, this person will be responsible for managing equipment performance and factory metrics in collaboration with Fab Engineering teams. The position will require strong knowledge of semiconductor equipment operation and maintenance, in order to analyze equipment data, develop solutions, and ensure actions are implemented. Additionally, this role will need to exhibit strong communication skills in order to lead cross-functional teams internally to Samsung and externally with equipment vendors and OEMs.
Role and Responsibilities
Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Manage fab wide equipment engineering improvement projects across cross-functional teams and business units.
Work with fab engineering teams to analyze equipment gap-to-goal and drive initiatives to meet performance metrics.
Staff/Executive level presentations, proposals and status reports to drive continuous improvement process.
Possess expert understanding of semiconductor equipment and should be capable of shifting focus of individual goals when priorities change.
Work with multiple engineering teams to reduce inefficiencies using data analysis and lean methodology.
Work with equipment analytics and solutions team to interpret data to develop and implement novel solutions for cross functional teams.
Role may require working with OEM vendors to support parts, process improvements and escalate critical business needs in a timely manner.
Skills and Qualifications
Here's what you'll need:
B.S. in mechanical, chemical or electrical engineering preferred. Other engineering/manufacturing degrees accepted.
Minimum of 8+ years experience in Semiconductor industry with knowledge in theory of operations and equipment maintenance.
PMP or Project Management Certification is a plus.
Experience working with OEM vendors (TEL, LAM, AMAT, ASML, etc) to drive continuous improvement and provide constructive feedback to improve site support
Project management experience with a background in Lean and/or Six Sigma

Data analysis and visualization skills in TIBCO Spotfire, JMP, or similar software.
Programming experience in Python, SQL, HTML is a plus
Full Stack development and cloud computing experience is a plus.
The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
