Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support and maintenance engineering for manufacturing equipment to ensure high machine uptime, reliability, and production efficiency.
Perform preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), troubleshooting, and repair activities for manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.
Support installation, qualification, setup, calibration, and validation of new equipment, tooling, and machine improvements.
Coordinate and execute equipment improvement projects focused on productivity, machine utilization, quality improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
Monitor equipment performance using statistical and data analysis tools to drive continuous improvement activities.
Collaborate closely with Production, Process Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Facilities, and other cross-functional teams to support smooth manufacturing operations.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and equipment readiness for mass production.
Prepare and maintain maintenance records, equipment history, spare part management, SOPs, PM checklists, and technical documentation.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, EHS requirements, and company standards.
Coordinate with equipment vendors and external suppliers for machine troubleshooting, repair, spare parts, and technical support.
Support engineering changes, machine modifications, and automation improvement initiatives.
Provide technical guidance and training to technicians and operators on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in equipment maintenance, manufacturing engineering, or automation support in manufacturing environment.
Experience in electronics, semiconductor, optical, or high-tech manufacturing industry is preferred.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems, troubleshooting techniques, PLC, automation systems, sensors, pneumatic systems, and mechanical/electrical equipment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
Familiar with statistical analysis tools, continuous improvement methodologies, and manufacturing systems.
Self-motivated, proactive, task-driven, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
Good communication and coordination skills in both English and Thai.
Flexibility in work hours to support production requirements and global collaboration when needed.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
