Job Description

YOUR ROLE.

As Equipment & Logistics Coordinator at Deep B.V., you are responsible for the planning, coordination, and administration of survey equipment across our projects. You ensure that both owned and rented equipment is planned, available, certified, and delivered on time.

You work closely with the People & Project Planner as part of a stable planning team, ensuring alignment between personnel and equipment planning and contributing to continuity during peak periods or absences. You are also the key link between planning, the Lead Engineer, suppliers, and project teams. You report to the Planning & Resources Manager.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Plan and schedule the use of owned survey equipment across multiple projects

  • Coordinate the rental of additional equipment with external suppliers when required

  • Align equipment planning with personnel and project planning in close cooperation with the People & Project Planner

  • Organise and coordinate all logistics related to equipment shipments, mobilisations, and returns worldwide

  • Manage procurement activities, including creating purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers

  • Maintain contact with suppliers regarding outsourced repairs, maintenance, and certifications

  • Work closely with the Lead Engineer and Survey Engineers to align equipment planning with technical priorities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date equipment planning and administration in relevant systems such as the equipment database

  • Respond to ad-hoc changes in project priorities and adjust plans accordingly

  • Actively explore and help implement improved planning, administration, or equipment management tools

  • Actively follow up with engineers and stakeholders to ensure timely and complete information

  • Support People & Project planning continuity during peak workloads or occasional absences

  • Comfortable with occasional availability outside office hours as part of a rotating duty schedule

  • You enjoy planning, administration, and working with detailed information

  • You like it when lists, schedules, and databases are correct and complete

  • You are tech-savvy and digitally curious, comfortable evaluating and adopting new tools or systems

  • You communicate clearly and understand how information flows within an organisation

  • You are comfortable working in a dynamic, project-driven environment with frequent changes

  • You are proactive, structured, and not afraid to follow up with colleagues or suppliers

  • You have affinity with technical equipment and logistics, without needing to work hands-on

WHAT WE ASK.

  • HBO level of working and thinking

  • 2+ years of experience in planning, logistics, coordination, or operations support

  • Strong administrative skills and experience with ERP, planning tools, or databases

  • Experienced with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)

  • Available for 40 hours per week

  • Based within commuting distance of Amsterdam
