Are you the person who knows where everything is, where it needs to go, and how to keep it all organized? American Ordnance is looking for a Property Specialist who can bring organization, accountability, and hands-on coordination to property and fleet operations across the plant.

As the Equipment Inventory Specialist here's the work you'll do:

  • Completes all receiving reports and ensures accuracy of all equipment records plant wide.
  • Conducts plant wide inventory of Contractor and Government equipment.
  • Receives incoming scrap metals/materials and segregate appropriately.
  • Locate, organize and lot plant equipment items to be sold.
  • Prepare for shipment any excess property, material sold or property sent off post for repair/exchange.
  • Performs duties as required during absence of Salvage Yard Supervisor.

This role is for you if you have these skills:

  • Must possess knowledge to identify different types of equipment and metal to categorized in appropriate classifications.
  • Ability to speak effectively to external customers or employees of the company.
  • Must be able to handle multiple duties simultaneosly.
  • Can work independlenty but also in team environment.
  • Ability to read and interrupt documents such as Procedures, shipping orders and navigating to remote areas.

And if you have these qualifications:

  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
  • 2+ years related experience Required
  • Valid Driver's License Required
  • Must be able to obtain forklift operator certification.
  • Successful completion of a background screening process is mandated for all candidates.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate with team members is essential for contributing to a cohesive work environment.

Candidates may be required to satisfy additional job-related requirements, including those established and controlled by third parties, as part of the selection process.

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $61,680 - $92,520 annually Please note that this range is not a guarantee of compensation; final offer amounts may vary based on experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on the date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
