Job Description

Your Key Responsibilities

1. The Process Engineer ensures the targeted process KPIs for his/her manufacturing processes. He/She is reaching the required technical availability and process quality on the equipment under his/her responsibility and supporting his/her department as a mentor. He/She is the local interface to the equipment supplier and escalation level for the shop floor for his / her process.
2. Ensure a detailed and realistic plan is provided according to the project schedule and in-time delivery of committed deliverables.
3. Report the project status on timing, quality and risk to Group Leader.
4. Schedule, manage, and communicate multiple project activities between multiple project team members to assure on time completion.
   

5. Responsible of one /more process steps from his/her area of responsibility

6. Process owner of the processes defined by the Process Engineering Team Leader e.g. pressfit, dispensing, advanced robotic,

7. Responsible for the technical troubleshooting regarding his/her processes and equipment.
8. In case of supplier issue the failures has to be documented and reported
9. Responsible for the installation of the production equipment and preparation of validation/release procedures.
10. Must be able to define the process standards and effective deployment of the same.
11. Shall perform statistical analysis and ensure that the process is under control.
12. Co-ordinate with global experts for process improvement.
13. Respond to the production alarm systems, which is activated, if the realization of the production plan or the product quality is in danger
14. Responsible of reaching the targeted KPIs in his/her processes (ex: scrap rate, "zero ppm" etc.)
15. Drive new process technology and continuous improvement. Ensure projects are completed on time.
16. Provide technical support, capability improvement, standardized work, immediate problem solving, and process support for multiple processes.
17. Responsible for the initiation, planning, implementation & control of the activity in his / her area of responsibility
18. Responsible for implementing the best preventive and corrective measures for ensuring the best quality, highest equipment availability and the minimum costs
19. Provide year over year Equipment / Process performance improvement (eg. cycle time reduction, OEE improvement)
20. Develop solution to make Equipment / Process more reliable using local material and with lower cost.
21. Good English knowledge (writing, reading, and speaking) -Advance Level
22. Practical understanding of modern production and quality management tools, like lean manufacturing, six sigma and TPM- Advance Level
23. Electronics / Electrotechnics Know-how -Basic Level
24. Automation Know-how -Advance Level
25. Mechanics / Mechatronics Know-how - Basic Level
26. MS Office, MS Project, operating system- Advance Level
27. Product Design (3D CAD) Software Know-how - Basic Level
28. Process specific knowledge (technology, process, material, supplier, etc) of his/her process ownership -Expert Level

Your Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics) or other related field or equivalent education and experience require.

Approx. 10-12 Years experience with Automotive Quality standards

Electromechanics, Automation Know-howPractical understanding of modern production and quality management tools, like lean manufacturing, six sigma and TPM

Languages: English, Hindi and preferably Marathi
