• Now Hiring: Equipment Haul Driver

(Heavy Equipment Haul Driver | CDL Heavy Equipment Transport | Safe Equipment Hauler)

Mustang Cat is hiring an experienced Equipment Haul Driver to support our Construction Industries Division. In this role, you'll safely load, secure, transport, and unload heavy construction equipment while providing professional and dependable service to our customers and internal teams.

We're looking for an experienced CDL driver with a strong background hauling heavy equipment who understands the importance of safe loading, securement, DOT compliance, and professional customer service.

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Overtime may be required based on customer and business needs.

• What You'll Do as an Equipment Haul Driver:

As an Equipment Haul Driver, you'll be responsible for safely transporting heavy equipment while ensuring each load meets Mustang Cat and DOT safety standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver, pick up, load, unload, and operate various types of heavy construction equipment
• Safely and properly load, secure, and haul equipment
• Move and stage equipment around the yard as needed
• Complete all required paperwork associated with equipment hauling and deliveries
• Comply with all applicable DOT requirements and safety regulations
• Maintain the appearance and condition of assigned haul truck and trailer to Mustang Cat and DOT standards
• Represent Mustang Cat professionally when interacting with customers and jobsites
• Maintain a Safety First approach during all loading, hauling, unloading, and equipment operations
• What We're Looking For:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience hauling heavy equipment using a lowboy trailer, including loading and securing equipment
• Valid CDL with double endorsements
• Clean driving record
• Experience safely operating various types of heavy construction equipment for loading and unloading
• Strong knowledge of proper equipment loading and load securement practices
• Knowledge of and ability to comply with DOT requirements
• Ability to work overtime when required to meet customer demands
• Strong commitment to safe driving and work practices
• Professional appearance and ability to represent Mustang Cat positively with customers

✅ Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience hauling construction or Caterpillar heavy equipment
• Experience transporting excavators, dozers, loaders, or similar construction machinery
• Familiarity with construction jobsites and heavy equipment yards
• Strong knowledge of DOT load securement and heavy equipment transportation practices
