Description

We are looking for a dedicated Equipment Engineering Intern to assist and support our Equipment Engineers in Bedok with Cleanroom Equipment. The intern must be willing to learn and have a hands-on approach, as well as be meticulous with details.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Troubleshooting
• Assist with routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and diagnosing hardware or mechanical issues to minimize equipment downtime.
• Data Analysis & Improvement
• Collect alarm logs, analyze equipment performance metrics (like OEE or failure rates), and support continuous improvement programs and initiatives.
• Testing & Validation
• Help execute test procedures, validate equipment modifications, and document technical specifications or standard operating procedures.
• Cross-Functional Support
• Coordinate with procurement, production, or safety teams to handle spare parts, tool installations, and facility safety compliance.
• Calibration System Support
• Support system owner to establish, enforce and execute business process for tool calibration.

Required Experience and Skills

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Automation/Electronic Engineering, or any Engineering-related discipline.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (data analysis, charting, and presentation skills).
• Good knowledge and hands‑on experience in coding, application development, and dashboard reporting (e.g., Python, VBA, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar tools).
• Ability to observe processes critically and apply data‑driven problem‑solving approaches.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Proactive, willing to learn, and comfortable working in cleanroom environment for long duration.
