As an Ion Implant Equipment Engineer, you will play a key role in driving quality improvements and enhancing equipment reliability. You will work closely with fellow engineers to identify and resolve complex equipment-related issues, optimize processes, and implement sustainable improvements.

Your Role

• Identify and resolve equipment-related issues that impact quality and reliability
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode Analysis (FMA) to determine the causes of equipment failures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures
• Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Assist with or lead the testing, qualification, and implementation of new projects and modifications
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to project planning, execution, and tracking

Your Skills and Experience

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong academic record with a keen interest in equipment engineering and quality improvement projects
• Basic knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment is an advantage
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Able to read schematics and interpret electrical/electronic components; a basic understanding of vacuum systems is an added advantage
• Keen on working with tools and performing hardware troubleshooting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of PLCs and programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python is a plus
